Lee Rachel Jurman

Lee Rachel Jurman. Photo Credit: Ellen FoustSince 1972, Lee Rachel Jurman has provided consultations and referrals to hundreds of individuals and families living and working with a diverse range of disabilities.

She brings compassion, experience, and a determined approach to identifying and securing the resources her clients need.

"I help individuals and their families plan for the worst while striving for as much quality in their lives as possible," Lee explains.

Lee's experience includes 6 years as Executive Director of the Information Center for Individuals with Disabilities, a statewide non-profit Massachusetts agency, followed by 9 years leading a national corporate disability consultation and referral program.

She is a summa cum laude graduate of Ohio University, with a Bachelor Degree in Music Therapy. Lee obtained a Masters in Management of Human Services from the Florence Heller School at Brandeis University. Lee is a member of the Case Management Society of America.

Marcia Madden Heist

Marcia Madden HeistMarcia Madden Heist brings to Personal Disability Consulting more than 25 years of clinical experience working with people struggling with mental health issues, alcoholism and drug abuse, and a variety of neurological disorders and physical disabilities.

Her personal experience as the sibling/guardian of a person with Downs' Syndrome, and the wife of a man living with a spinal cord injury, gives her a uniquely empathic perspective on the role, responsibility and needs of successful family support persons and caregivers.

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Marcia has carried her focus on practical life management to all areas of her work as a clinician, manager and consultant. She received a Masters in Management of Human Services from the Florence Heller School at Brandeis University.
